Rentalic captured the 1st place grand prize in the 2010 PayPal X Developer Challenge innovation competition. The competition began with 650 applicants before being narrowed down to the top ten finalists. A panel of distinguished judges, which included Pierre Omidyar (Chairman of eBay), Scott Thompson (President of PayPal), Marc Andreessen (General Partner of Andreessen/Horowitz), and Roelof Botha (Partner at Sequoia Capital), selected Rentalic as the competition’s grand prize winner, further validating Rentalic’s business model as the premier technological solution for the person-to-person rental marketplace.

Maker Faire Editor's Choice Award -2009 was awarded to us at Maker Faire 2009. This was the first award we received and we won this award just for our business concept even 4 months before we launched our alpha website.

Rentalic was selected as one of the Red Herring top 100 North America-2010 finalists, yet another recognition of our business concept and its potential for explosive viral growth.
